Compliance at a Glance

The TeleSeal platform is engineered to align with common state RON rules, including identity proofing, secure audio/video, tamper-evident notarization, and robust recordkeeping. We publish our policies for regulators and partners to review.

Identity Proofing

  • Tamper-evident recording with timestamped event markers
  • Secure retention with export on lawful request

State-Specific Notes

We maintain state outlines describing how TeleSeal satisfies jurisdiction-specific rules (e.g., ID proofing methods, disclosure language, retention windows, acceptable credential analyzers). Contact us for any state not listed below.

Arizona (RON)

  • Identity proofing via credential analysis + KBA
  • Realtime A/V session with full-frame recording
  • Digital certificate–backed seals on final PDFs
  • Notary electronic journal with export
  • A/V and journal retention per state schedule

Technology & Security

Cryptographic Signing

Each notarization is sealed using digital certificates (X.509). Final artifacts (e.g., PDF) include an embedded, tamper-evident notarial seal and a signed timestamp. We support long-term validation (LTV) profiles to preserve verifiability over time.

Evidence Package

TeleSeal maintains a detailed, immutable audit trail: identity checks, consent events, session timings, document versions, signatures, and seals. A/V recordings are retained securely and can be exported upon lawful request consistent with state rules.

Defense-in-Depth

  • Encryption in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest
  • RBAC with MFA for privileged users and notaries
  • Secure development lifecycle and change control
  • Vulnerability scanning and third-party risk management
  • Privacy by design with data minimization

System Requirements

  • Modern browser with camera & microphone access
  • Stable broadband connection for A/V
  • Valid government ID for credential analysis

For Notaries

  • • Onboarding with identity proofing and credential validation
  • • Commission and E-Seal issuance management

  • • Transparent status, audit, and delivery of final artifacts
  • • Secure storage and controlled export of A/V and logs
